Piotr Dura did the Dorset Invader Trail Marathon, which he describes as being a very difficult race, but he was rewarded with the best medal ever! His time of 4h14 put him in 13th place out of 270 runners.

Sue and Steve Needham took part in the Race to the Stones; a 100km ultra marathon which they completed over 2 days in a total of 17hr 25 mins. (32.2 miles Saturday in 8:51 and 31.1 miles Sunday in 8:34). They came 248th and 249th out of 638 finishers, and there were over 100 competitors who DNF. It was an “undulating” course along the Ridgeway from the Chilterns in Oxfordshire to the Standing Stones at Avebury in the North Wessex Downs. They recorded a total of 1349m ascent and 1335m descent. The scenery, weather and organisation couldn’t have been better and they thoroughly enjoyed it. An amazing achievement – well done!
