Parkrun PB’s this week for Diane Kennett, Cliff Robinson, Damian Davies, and Annie Cunningham at Newark.
On Friday night four NOTFAST runners dug out their best Halloween costumes and went to Woodhouse Eaves in Leicestershire for the Skeleton run, a hilly 5 mile night-time run around the woodland trails of Beacon Hill. Staying ahead of the Grim Sweeper were David Watt (44:56), Caroline Upton (48:50), Liz Walton (50:08), and Ann Manley (56:15).
On Saturday John Miller took on his own Halloween challenge, the Spooky Sprint 10k at Wollaton Hall, a two-lap route with a bit of a hill thrown in for good measure, which John finished in 1:06:49.
Earlier in the day Piotr Dura ran the Snowdonia Marathon, a course which circles Snowdon and is described as “demanding and spectacular”, in a good time of 4:07:12.
On Sunday NOTFAST had a good turnout at the Worksop Half Marathon. 14 members completed the scenic but hilly course, all with good times: Ady Dix 1:26:03 (PB), Damian Davies 1:28:26, Richard Hallam (first half marathon in 2 years due to injury) 1:33:33, Simon Lock 1:45:34, Jeremy Reichelt (exactly the same time as in Lincoln!) 1:47:02, Darren Wilkinson 1:50:20, Piotr Dura (after his marathon yesterday!) 1:54:03, Janet Davies 1:55:33, Steve Needham 1:58:22, Netty Stevens (with twisted ankle after Parkrun) 2:09:22, Annette Taylor 2:11:28, Peter Lane 2:18:34, Colin Green (age grade 64%) 2:20:44, Amy Lanham 2:20:44.

Adam Jackson took on his first Ultra marathon, the Stort30 Ultra starting and finishing in Bishop’s Stortford and running out and back along the River Stort Navigation Channel in Hertfordshire. This was Adam’s first event longer than a half marathon, and he finished in 6h29 – great running, well done Adam!
