11 members of NOTFAST Running Club took part in the 8.6mile Rauceby Ripper on Saturday. Starting and finishing in South Rauceby between Grantham and Sleaford and organised by Sleaford Striders. The off-road course followed a well-marked but very muddy route along field edges, farm tracks and through woodland. The torrential rain during Friday night added to the already soggy ground and found runners slipping and sliding. Light rain and strong head winds added to the challenge. Jeremy enjoyed the mud so much he went and helped push cars out of the mire afterwards too!
