The Notts. Summer league race at Wollaton Park was another well attended and pleasurable event.  It was a pleasant 10K course somewhat easier than The Easter 10K.  Eleven male and ten female NOTFAST runners took part.  This ensured 2 male and 3 female teams counted plus Adam as our sole Senior Male who finished 9th in 35m33s.  First Vet back was Chris McDonnell in 42m13s, while Diana Wakefield was first female in 46m25s.  Other results are below:

The Holme Pierrepont Grand Prix is still a work in progress but with 2 down and 2 to go next week 5 of us are thoroughly enjoying good runs in attractive locations, well organised with friendly supportive volunteers.

For those interested in standard of runners; Marilyn has now achieved an 80.11% Age Grade at Newark Park Run while Adam’s best is 78.18%.

Tomas Tresnak and Piotr Dura completed the Humber Bridge Half Marathon with Thomas finishing in 10th position in a very quick  time of  1.21.47 and Piotr in 2.07.43 and 1199th position
