On Friday Kate Fisher and Andy Pritchett along with 400 runners and dozens of geese and goslings enjoyed the warm evening at The Notts. 10m race from Holme Pierrepont. This is a popular race with local clubs. Kate finished in 88m28s while Andy limped home in 91m44s.

· Stephen Hodson Mackey and Lee Crossland joined 2000 other runners to run ‘The Potter’s Arf’ in a very warm Stoke on Trent, in 1h47m55s and 1h50m57s.

· The Park Runs are getting more popular. Bob Oakham ran again as did Mike Bullock and his boys, Andy Watts did his duty as sweeper this week encouraging the back runners.

· Lyn McDonnell did the Loughborough Half on Sunday morning. The race was listed as flat with no mention of off road-but it was neither flat nor all on road – in fact Lyn says the course went up a grassy hill at one stage! It was on a mixture of tracks, paths and roads and was undulating. Lyn says” it was a pretty run through the countryside. I did a slow but comfortable run finishing in 2.06.15.
