Liz Walton and David Watt went to Totley in Derbyshire for the last in the series of Mini Mountain Marathons and completed the series by finishing with their highest points score of all; 195 (they did lose an odd penalty time point).  They completed this demanding event in 3h49m.

Southwell Running Club kept up the local standard of first class races with their brand new Swine Race.  This is an off road race of one or two laps of about 6 miles each.  It was well organised and the route was very pleasant, the venue was ideal at Southwell Rugby Club.  Kate Fisher and John Miller chose to enjoy just the one lap finishing in 1h02m11s and 1h07m10s respectively.  Piotr Dura and Peter Roberts enjoyed the first lap so much that they ran a second to finish in 1h40m35s and 2h06m07s.  Success was celebrated by enjoying the well roasted swine with stuffing and apple sauce.
