We have some spectacular results from NOTFAST’s Ultra runners this weekend.

Liz Walton and David Watts competed in a two day double marathon mountain event on Saturday andSunday.  It was The Saunders Mountain Marathon running for 7h 30m on Saturday, camping overnight then another 7h on Sunday.

Not to be outdone Caroline Upton ran a 24 hour race from 10amSaturday to 10amSunday in Shropshire.  Caroline ran The 12 Labours of Hercules Ultramarathon covering 78m (yes 78m), climbing 15,000ft (like Snowden times four) and had to complete various ‘tasks’ like archery and chariot racing. Not surprisingly Caroline was the first lady in the race and is understandably ‘shattered’.
