Chris Baker and Claire Moyes-Baker ran the popular Summer Solstice 10K in Long Bennington on Friday.  It was a very well organised event with a good road loop, with about 320 runners mainly from our local clubs.  Chris ran in 52m52s while Claire took 59m01s.

Peter Tatton ran the Long Eaton 5m which was a multi terrain grassy course, in 51m35s.

Lee Crossland and Mark Jackson did the hilly and muddy 10 mile pain and suffering obstacle course at Rockingham.  There are no official results, but they took circa 2 hrs.

Dick Brumby exchanged running shoes for cycle shoes to ride 103miles in The Great Notts Bike Ride and became one of the hundreds of cyclists we saw on our lanes today struggling through the wind and rain.  Dick completed the trip in a fine time of 8hours including ‘fuel stops’.

Many members ran in The Gordon Welbourne week.

9 members took part in the Park Run on Saturday 22nd
