The main event, of course, was The Robin Hood races.  This was a great spectacle as usual and 8625 runners completed the races round Nottingham and district.  In the marathon NOTFAST excelled in the person of Adam Holland who came in a fantastic 3rd place and also won the first place and gold medal as The County Champion at the marathon distance.  Adam had barely had time to recover from his 10 in 10 days marathons which he completed only two weeks ago.  Steve Needham also had a good race finishing in 1066th in 4h42m52s.

Running the half marathon, Piotr Dura had a fine run to finish 442nd in 1h34m08s.  Stuart Chase finished in 1h51m02s, Catherine Smith in 2h03m03s, Andy Rowlands in 2h06m00s and Annie Walton in 2h30m05s.

Elsewhere, John Miller completed the marathon distance finishing The Harvest Hobble Challenge in 7h39m with views including Lincoln Cathedral and The Humber estuary.
