Saturday 1st September Andy Pritchett and Kate Fisher ran the:

“ Lincolnshire Wolds Tough Ten Mile”

Kate says : –

By breaking down the name you know what we were up against,

Lincolnshire Wolds – rolling hills, beautiful countryside. The course profile shows 459ft of ascent over the course which equates to flat equivalent of 10.53 miles.

Tough – well if the race organisers add this to the event name when they train in this area all the time it must be….TOUGH!

Ten Miles – the distance the race covered.

Andy and I finished in 1hr 32 mins

A very well organised race by Lincs Wolds Veteran Running Club, starting and finishing in the village of Rothwell close to Caistor. It attracted a field of almost 300 runners.

On Sunday 2nd Kathleen Davis ran the Wilne 10k in 49.09
