Colin Green and Stuart Ashley went to Brantingham in East Yorkshire
for the 24.5 mile ‘Rudolphs Romp’. This is on an undulating route in
the Yorkshire Wolds. Colin spoke of a “Lovely sunny day, blowing a
freezing gale most of the time” and that he was hampered by blisters.

The pair finished in 7hrs 4mins

On the following Sunday Colin was back out for the Edwinstowe
Christmas 10k. A decent field of 550 took part on a course around
Sherwood Forest that clubmate, Dick Brumby described as “Great course,
very scenic and not too flat !” Dick is nursing a dodgy hamstring at
the moment so his 53mins 25sec was pretty good. Colin with the
previous days 24 miles in his legs knocked off a decent 64.30 too.
