It’s NOTFAST International this week.  We have been competing from Southwell through Edinburgh and Geneva to Poznan in Poland.

Kira Green competed in The Southwell Triathlon and was pleased to finish the: 440m swim,17.6K cycle and 3K run, in 1h 33m 22s.

Steve Hodson-Mackey was at Uttoxeter running the half marathon in 1h 45m 54s while 9 year old son Hugo did the fun run in 11m 39s.

Stuart Ashley completed his third Challenge Event in three weeks walking 25miles in 7h 33m at The Stanage Stumble around the Sheffield countryside.

Mike Bullock took on the most demanding event with The North Yorks Ultra Marathon and covered 36 very hilly miles in 6h 28m finishing in 14th place.

Bob Oakham completed the 10k Coastal Trail at the same venue in 1hr 43mins  …3rd Male Vet

Caroline Upton, again at the same venue completed the Marathon distance in 5hrs 29 mins which put her 28th out of 45 as well as 5th female and 3rd in age.

John Blundy has not been able to compete for 18months so why not re-start by nipping over to Geneva for a few days and running a half marathon in 1h 39m 03s.

Piotr Dura claimed most running miles and air miles combined.  Start with The Poznan Half Marathon in Poland supported by family and friends and completed in 1h 45m.  The weather was wonderful,  spring was in full flow and 6000 runners enjoyed the race.  Come back via Edinburgh and take in a very wet Half Marathon through this famous Scottish city in 1h 39m. Then to finish off the trip call in at Manchester to run The Greater Manchester Marathon in 3h 41m.  This was Piotr’s first marathon; fortunately he did not have to suffer the wet and freezing conditions like Chris and Claire last year.
